What can change your price

• Floor levelling. Click floors need a flat base. Uneven tiles or concrete may need a levelling compound first.
• Removing old flooring. Taking up old carpet, tiles or wood adds labour and debris removal.
• Skirting and profiles. New skirting, door thresholds and edge trims are priced per metre or per piece.
• Patterns. Herringbone and chevron layouts need more cutting, so they use more material and take longer to fit.
• Room shape. Small rooms, corridors and many corners mean more cuts than one large open space.

SPC flooring

SPC has a rigid core made from limestone powder and PVC, so water doesn't swell it. That makes it a safe choice for kitchens, utility rooms and apartments where floors get mopped daily. Vinyl flooring

Vinyl is a flexible PVC floor that comes as sheets, planks or tiles. It costs the least of any floor we install and is quick to fit, which is why landlords, offices and clinics choose it. Laminate flooring

Wooden flooring

Parquet flooring

Choosing Flooring for Dubai's Climate

Dubai floors face conditions that most product brochures don't mention. Keep these points in mind when you compare options:

• AC and humidity. Rooms swing between cool AC and humid air, and floors expand and shrink with it. Good installers leave expansion gaps at the walls and let planks settle in the room before fitting.
• Sunlight through large windows. Strong sun can fade some floors over time. For rooms with floor-to-ceiling glass, ask for a UV-stable product, or plan for blinds or curtains.
• Sand and dust. Fine sand acts like sandpaper underfoot. The wear layer protects the surface, so choose a thicker one for entrances and busy family areas.
• Indoor air. If you have young children or allergies, ask for the product's spec sheet and emissions certificate before you buy. We share these for every range we sell.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Laminate in a kitchen or bathroom. Water gets into the joints and the boards swell. Choose SPC instead.
• Skipping floor levelling. Click floors laid on an uneven base creak, flex and can split at the joints.
• Comparing price only. A cheap quote that leaves out skirting, levelling or old-floor removal often ends up costing more.
• Forgetting building approval. Many Dubai towers and communities ask for a work permit or NOC from building management. Check before you book a date.
