A medium-grade golf turf with a pile height of 10 to 13mm provides excellent putting performance and durability for daily home use. This is the right choice for most private residential installations.
Indoor Practice Putting Surfaces
For indoor use, a slightly denser and softer-backed turf is recommended to protect hard floor surfaces and reduce noise. We use a specifically formulated indoor golf grass product with appropriate underlay for these installations.

The quality of a golf surface installation is determined largely by the quality of the base beneath the turf. A poorly prepared base leads to uneven ball roll, drainage problems, and premature turf failure.
Our installation process begins with proper base preparation removing existing surface material, compacting a suitable sub-base typically crushed aggregate or compacted sand, ensuring correct gradient for drainage, and installing a weed membrane before the turf is laid. For rooftop and indoor installations, the base preparation method is adapted to suit the existing surface structure.
